CUSTOM CAREER PUBLICATIONS

PACE has done a number of industry-specific career publications for different clients. This involves research into the industry as well as interviews and consulting with experts. The publication is then designed according to client specifications and the target market.

CUSTOM ONLINE CAREER SYSTEMS

PACE develops customized career guidance websites, web portals (and mobile) based systems, that allow citizens to conduct a career assessment, identify and investigate careers, and research career pathways and places to study. These websites enable informed career decision-making and serve to build a skilled and capable workforce in meeting to address strategic national goals. PACE Developments include:

RESEARCH & CONSULTING PROJECTS

PACE Career Centre together with the PACE Research Institute assist clients to develop white papers, policies and frameworks linked to career guidance delivery in South Africa as well as within specific Industries. Our latest projects include:

  • The W&RSETA Career Guidance Strategy (2020-2025).

  • The Competency Framework for Career Development Practitioners in South Africa.

  • The Draft Curriculum Framework for Career Guidance Delivery in Schools.

CAREER GUIDANCE PROJECTS IN AFRICA

PACE has created a footprint in a number of countries on the African continent as it strives to reproduce its successful model introduced in South Africa. PACE does tis through a network of partners in Ghana, Kenya and Rwanda. In 2018 PACE established the East African Career Development Association (EACDA). https://www.eacda.org/

CAREER DRESS-UP DAY

Career Dress-up day is an initiative of the Department of Education and PACE Career Centre. Career Dress-up day is held in October every year and is set as an annual event in the primary school calendar. Career Dress-up day is a fun event designed to encourage career awareness amongst Grade 7 learners as part of the Life Orientation curriculum.

CUSTOM CAREER VIDEO PRODUCTIONS

PACE produces videos on various career-related themes to promote career readiness and assist people to better understand the career and job environment.  Career-related videos are one of the best ways of communicating with young people because a video is visual and able to communicate a lot of relevant information in a short time.
